St
Alban’s (Grand Cayman) & St Mary’s (Cayman Brac) |
St. Mary's Church of England in Cayman Brac was formed as part of the Church of England in the Cayman Islands, and included in the incorporation of the Church as The Ecclesiastical Corporation in the early 1990's following a response to the initial need of two families of Anglicans in Cayman Brac for the Baptism of their children. Since that time a small congregation has met, either in the home of one of the members or, for several years, in the chapel of the Catholic Rectory in Stake Bay by kind permission, and currently in the Temple behind Mango Manor, by kind permission. The aim has been to hold a service of Holy Communion as near to once a month as possible. The Rector, Bishop Nicholas Sykes, flies from Grand Cayman to hold these services, which begin on the Sunday evenings selected at 7.30 p.m.. The Cayman Brac Churchwardens are Chris Randall and
Dee MacKenzie. Please keep in touch with either of them or with any
others of the congregation to find out when the next service will be
held. | |
